Welcome SITE to the AMS Geek & Data Sangria Family! - AMS Geek

We’re thrilled to welcome the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) as one of the newest organizations to tap into the power of AMS Geek & Data Sangria! SITE is a global community of professionals dedicated to the business of incentive travel—and now, they’re simplifying how their systems talk to each other.

Like many associations, SITE relies on a handful of powerful tools to manage their member data, events, and communications:

• Rhythm AMS for their association management
• Cvent for event registration

With this project, our goal is simple: make these systems work smarter together.

What We’re Building for SITE

To support SITE’s unique setup, AMS Geek is delivering two solutions designed to streamline the member experience and keep data flowing smoothly across platforms:

1. Single Sign-On (SSO) Between Rhythm AMS & Cvent

No more juggling logins. With our SSO solution, SITE members will be able to log into their Rhythm AMS account and be automatically routed to Cvent for event registration—no extra steps needed.

Even better:

• Members will land directly on the right registration path in Cvent, based on their member type.
• Key details like name, email, and membership ID will be pre-filled, making registration a breeze.
• Non-members? They’ll skip the SSO altogether and use the default Cvent registration process.

To make this happen, AMS Geek is building a custom Identity Provider (IdP) that sits between Rhythm and Cvent, handles login, and sends the right user data over to pre-populate the registration form.

2. Syncing Non-Member Records from Cvent to Rhythm AMS

What about those who register but aren’t SITE members yet? We’ve got them covered too.

We’re setting up a one-way integration using Data Sangria to automatically push non-member registrants from Cvent into Rhythm AMS. That means:

• No more manual contact entry for SITE staff.
• Every registrant is captured in their AMS—even those without existing profiles.
• Syncs run daily, or on demand if needed for past events.

Why It Matters

For SITE, this project means a more seamless experience for their members, fewer headaches for staff, and cleaner, more complete data across systems. For us, it’s another exciting example of how Data Sangria + AMS Geek are helping associations do more with the tech they already use.
