Building a More Connected Member Experience for SDPA

At AMS Geek, we love helping associations eliminate manual processes and create a better experience for both staff and members. That's exactly what we're doing with the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA).

SDPA relies on YourMembership as their Association Management System (AMS), Cvent for event management, and Elevate as their learning management system. Like many associations, these platforms each play an important role, but without integration, valuable member data can become siloed across multiple systems.

The Challenge

Managing events and education across multiple platforms often means duplicate data entry, manual imports, and additional administrative work.

SDPA wanted to streamline these processes by:

• Giving members a seamless login experience between YourMembership and Cvent
• Automatically syncing event registration data back into YourMembership
• Automatically recording course completion data from Elevate into the AMS

Rather than asking staff to manually update records, they wanted their technology to do the work for them.

The Solution

AMS Geek is implementing three connected solutions designed to make SDPA's technology ecosystem work together.

Single Sign-On Between YourMembership and Cvent

Members will be able to sign in using their YourMembership credentials before registering for Cvent events. Their information will automatically populate the registration process, creating a smoother member experience while reducing duplicate data entry. Registration paths can also be customized based on membership type.

Cvent Registration Writeback

Using Data Sangria, our integration platform, registration information from Cvent will automatically sync back into YourMembership. This ensures member records stay current without manual imports while helping reduce duplicate records and administrative effort.

Elevate Learning Writeback

When members complete courses in Elevate, course completion information will automatically update within YourMembership. This creates a more connected learning experience and helps ensure education records remain accurate and up to date.
